The young “allrounder” driver Valeriy Bercha had the opportunity to compete at the rally in his native city for the second time. The first one was about one year ago, when the driver made his rally debut in February 2009, in the winter rally and won it being the fastest on 5 of 6 stages.

But, unfortunately due to a lack of problems before the beginning of the “Rally Bukovina 2010” he was forced to retire and to come to rally just like a spectator and supporter of his racing team – Avtoplaza Rally Team from Chernivtsy. A small, but very ambitious rally team is a partner of Bercha from the year 2007. That’s the team, that Valeriy raced for in 2008 in Ukrainian Hill Climb Championship and had some great races and a lot of success.

Avtoplaza is the only team who races on the new Renault Logan Rally Car in Ukraine. And not without success. They achieved a top 6th finish at the “Rally Bukovina 2010”.

“It was an very excited and interesting rally”, Bercha said. “I am a little bit disappointed, because I couldn’t participate in this rally in the front of my native supporters. I’m sure that very soon I’ll have another chance to do this and to show that I could be fast not just in single-seater races, but also in rallying. I enjoy this discipline a lot”.
